Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own domain?
Yes. On Storyteller and Publication plans, you can connect any custom domain. We handle SSL certificates and DNS configuration automatically. Your readers will see your brand, not ours.
Can I import from WordPress or Medium?
Absolutely. We support one-click import from WordPress, Medium, Substack, and Ghost. Your posts, images, and metadata come over intact. Migration typically takes under five minutes.
What happens to my content if I cancel?
You own your content, always. Export everything as Markdown, HTML, or JSON with a single click. After cancellation, your site stays online for 30 days so you have time to migrate.
Do you offer a newsletter feature?
Yes. Storyteller and Publication plans include built-in newsletter functionality. Collect subscribers, send stories directly to their inbox, and track open rates. No external tools needed.
Is Muse good for team blogs?
The Publication plan is built specifically for editorial teams. Multiple authors, editorial workflows with draft and review stages, role-based permissions, and a shared style guide.
Can I customize the design?
Free Spirit offers curated typography choices. Storyteller adds custom colors and layout options. Publication includes full CSS access and white-label branding for complete control.
